Compelted Pair

I now have a completed pair of hand knit socks! Are they not just the most spectacular thing you ever saw? Okay, maybe that is a little too much, but I think they are pretty fantastic!

I decided that I liked the short row heel, and so I ripped out the first sock I made and re-did the heel to match. I like them better this way. I am going to try the slip-stitch heel on the next pair I make because I liked that too. My one and only complaint about these socks is that I was too lazy to make sure the stripes matched on each sock. They are only off by a couple rows and I didn't think it would bother me, but it does. Next time I make a stripe sock I will make sure they match.
