Or, more yarn, if you prefer the English translation.
I received a gift card to
knitpicks for my birthday (thank you to the Morawetz family) and decided that I needed some sock yarn. I read in my book "
Socks from the Toe-Up" that sock yarn does not count as stash, so I felt no guilt in purchasing this yarn.
I got this skein of Ivy color
Stroll Kettle Dyed for a pair of socks I'm going to make for Dustin.

A skein of the new
Stroll Tonal yarn in this very happy green yarn called springtime. So super soft, I can't wait to start a project with this.

And just because I am feeling super adventurous, I purchased a skein of
Superwash Merino Bare because I am going to try my hand and yarn dying! I found this great
tutorial here and when all the egg dying kits were on sale I purchased one just so I could try this. I can't wait!
Yay for a little yarn splurge!! Can't wait ti see what you make with it.
ReplyDeleteLoving those Knitpick yarns. They nice I know you going to whip up something lovely with those.

ReplyDeleteYou'll have to let us know how the stroll tonal works for you. That is such pretty yarn and it's supposed to be their big seller this year.
Can't wait to see how the yarn dyes up. I've been wanting to try dyeing for a while now.
Nothing like new yarn to get inspired!!! Can't wait to see your hand dye! I haven't had the bravado to try to dye with real dyes! (only tried with koolaid). Have a great time!
