New washcloths - new patterns

I really like to make washcloths, maybe because they are fast and it is a quick sense of accomplishment. I bought the Crochet Stitch Bible and have been using it to make some washcloths. I love them all, almost to the point where I don't want to give them away. Nonetheless, they are all headed to new homes this weekend. I can always make more and I am sure that I will. This one is called the harlequin stitch. I liked it, it was a little challenging since I had to remember which row I was on but I think it turned out really nice.

This one is called the two-color wave stitch. I was able to carry the yarn as I went so I didn't have to tie off each row and have a ton of ends to weave in. Any pattern that you can do that with is a winner in my book.

I know that these blues do not match but they are all that I had. I liked this pattern, super easy, and super durable.

They are all very pretty! I've never tried that harlequin stitch before. I want to make the close up picture my computer's wallpaper! Love that picture.

I love that harlequin stitch. I have used it to make a few baby afghans that have turned out very well.

I will have to check out the Crochet Stitch Bible. Hopefully, they will have it at my local library....
