No excuses!

Okay, I'm a slacker, I'll be the first to admit it. I don't even know if anyone bothers to check this blog since I have been missing for a week (Sorry Mom!). I don't know what has gotten into me lately, but I'm sure it has to do with the fact that I have been super busy. A lot has happened, although it has not been in the crafting area. Example, family graduations, family in the hospital, and apartment hunting (It's a long bothersome story, don't ask) which has taken up most of my time amongst other things. We have found two, and got accepted to both of them, now we just need to sign a contract and get packin'. Yippee!
I have slowly become burned out on crochet and have found myself scrapbooking and sewing more and more. Of course, I don't have any pictures to show so you'll just have to take my word for it. I have made significant progress on my scrapbooks, so much that I had to buy a new album. Yippee for me! I have also been working on a few receiving blankets. I love making those. Hopefully, I'll have pictures soon.

Apartment hunting is so time consuming! Glad you've found a place, though.
I did read Snow Falling on Cedars. It was okay, not my favorite. There was a lot of back story about the history and descriptions about the landscape. My cousin also read it and agreed that it was a little slow, but that the writing was well done.
Can't wait to see the crafts you've been working on!

I was wondering where you were. I was sure you had gone off on some exotic vacation. Dang! Love, Mom
