My aunt is participating in the Relay for Life in her town. Her team is trying to raise money for this good cause. They are doing a raffle on a bunch of homemade items. All of these items are for the home ~ like sheets, kitchen towels, pillows, rugs, wall hangings, etc. She asked if I could make something to donate to this. So I made her some linen kitchen towels and some crocheted dish cloths.
The relay for life is an organization that is associated with the cancer society. “Relay for life is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at the local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to raise funds and have a representative on that track at all time during this overnight event.” (Taken from Relay for life Pamphlet)

My aunt is still in need of donations for the raffle prize. If anyone has any “handmade items for the home” that they would like to donate, please contact me. I know she would be grateful for any further donations… and it is for a great cause.
They will be doing the raffle drawing in February sometime. So any donations before that time would be great. If you would like to know more information about where you can get tickets for the raffle, I’ll find out for you.

I'm sure I can think of something to make! Pi will be going on a trip with her grandparents this weekend, so I can definitely do something. If you email your address (or whatever addy I should send donations to), I cna get something out to you in the next week or 2.
Cute prizes! I would like to make some kitchen towels for the giveaway if that's okay (they're a little different than yours but they use waffle fabric too)
