North Carolina Here I Come!

Finally, after five weeks and three days, I am getting on a plane and headed to North Carolina to see my husband!  I can’t wait.  It has been a long hard 5 weeks and I can’t wait to see Dustin.  I have job interviews on Tuesday and Wednesday and will be back in Utah on Friday.  Then Saturday we are driving a moving truck cross country to NC.  I have a feeling this is going to be the longest week of my life.    Wish me luck!

In the meantime, here is a sneak peak at my latest craft obsession.

More about this later.

Good luck with the flying, interviews, and long drive!

Cute magnets! At least, I think that's what those are.

Your magnets are really lovely. We made a whole set of pirate ones using skull and cross bone fabric. They are so fun! Thanks for sharing this.

This certainly does sound like quite a week for you! Your latest craft obsession looks like one I've tried my hand at. It is so much fun, and I can't wait to hear more from you about it! I've done jewelry, but I would definitely like to try making some magnets too! Good luck to you and your husband with everything!!

I made different kind of pictorial magnets one year and eventually there was no space on the fridge for another. Looking back I realized I had made a "quilt". I have them all in a box somewhere...when we moved our fridge does not sit openly in the room and it made no sense to recreate the art that was...but it was, as you say, addictive" for a time. I gave many away too ...no present is really insignificant. Isn't the quilt show fun? Thanks for sharing yours, that is how I got here.
