Sixteen Cables Hat

I'm in love with this hat! Love love love! This pattern was a little difficult for me for two reasons: (1) Sixteen cable repeats are killer on my hands. (2) My first time practicing cables with the needle in the back. That was also a little difficult for my hands as well. This is really supposed to be a slouchy hat, but after reading many reviews of this pattern on Raverly, I was nervous I wouldn't have enough yarn to do the extra slouchy rows, so I omitted them from the pattern. In the end, I had many four yards of yarn left over, and my hat turned out to not be slouchy at all. It is more of a beanie than I had originally planned. I still haven't blocked it so maybe once that is finished it will add a little slouch to it. I adore this yarn! It is oh so soft, has beautiful vibrant colors, and is a complete dream to work with. I'll definitely be adding more of this to the stash in the near future.

The hat is a work of art. The blue is perfect.
