My new project is coming along slowly. I have been too busy to crochet lately (what is the world coming to?) but I am making some progress. I made this wash cloth for our neighbor (please don't notice that the creams are different colors, because I pretend, I mean I can't, see it) and I loved this pattern. Super easy and super durable. So I decided we need new place mats and this pattern would make some very cute ones. Our kitchen is mostly blue with some browns and these colors actually match our dishes perfectly.

Pretty! I like those colors together for dishcloths. With the color changes that stitch really pops!
very cute! what pattern is that? It looks similar to the daisy knit stitch pattern. I love blue and brown together like that!
Oh those are way cute! Where did you get the stitches from? Is is for your neighbors upstairs? lol Have a great general conference!
I would have never noticed the creams were different. They look very close. The blue and brown looks great! I also need placemats...thanks for the inspiration!
WOW you have been very busy. They are all turning out so nicely. I love the colors you used. I wouldn't even have thought of using a lot of the colors you used they work so nicely together. Great job.
They all look great. Nice colors. :)
Lovely stitches! I found your blog searching for harlequin stitch, but this one is gorgeous too. I have that crochet stitch bible on my wishlist, waiting for a nice fat payday!
These look great - I'm another one who is a fan of blue and brown together. By the way, thanks for popping by my blog. Sleeping in, having your lunch packed, and getting to work on time, sounds like a lovely way to start the day - my DH also let me sleep in today, and you reminded me to appreciate him more. Thanks!!!

I would like to make some nice placemats for our table, we sure can't find anything like this in the stores.
