Irish Hiking Scarf

I originally cast on for this scarf back in February, when it was cold and I was on a major scarf knitting kick. It was when I was learning to do cables and thought this pattern would be a great way to practice. I was right.

Then it started to get warm, and I put it aside. I really want to get this finished before winter rolls around again so that I have a new scarf to keep me warm. Pattern - Irish Hiking Scarf
Raverly Link
Yarn - Universal Yarns Deluxe Worsted Tones in Wine Dance

I love the color of that scarf. I hope you finish it before the chiily weather comes. We're having a heat wave up here. How about you?

Cables? Really? I'm so impressed. By the way, that's one of my FAVORITE colors, hint, hint!

Cables scare me. I've decided to try them in the winter.
